2026 Summer Season: REGISTRATION

Your team manager should have contacted you with instructions for how to register as a player and/or team official (e.g. manager or coach). REMEMBER: you need to use the ‘team assignment’ registration code. USA Soccer has implemented this to ensure that each player is uniquely identified in the nationwide registration system.

As has been the case for a few years already, your registration payment will be processed through Soccer Connect. The Soccer Connect payment portal accepts credit cards, debit cards (Visa/MasterCard) as well as e-checks drawn directly from your bank. As has also been the practice for several years, rest assured that your credit/debit card will not be charged until your registration has been accepted by the GLWSL league registrar.

Returning players and team officials (managers and coaches) should use your existing Soccer Connect account.  If your last name has changed since the 2024 registration, a new copy of your driver’s license will need to be uploaded into the system.

Please note: Managers and assistant managers – if you are both playing and managing/coaching, you need to register as a coach and/or assistant coach in order to have access to the team roster and other functions that you will need to use for game sheets.

New players/coaches – you will need to create a Soccer Connect account. A head shot picture and a copy of your driver’s license is required for you to be able to register. You need to pay close attention to upload these documents in the appropriate boxes. If you are missing either document your registration will not be processed.

Everyone, whether new or returning – your late player registration must be completed by May 28th in order to be eligible to play in the first game of the season… which is slated for the last Sunday in May! Squeeeeeee!!!!

Almost Summer!

Message from GLWSL President: Fall 2025 League

Hello Managers,

We realize this message is late but please share it with your teams regarding the GLWSL Fall League.

Player registration for the Fall League is open until Friday, Sept 12th @ noon.  League starts Sunday, September 14th and will run 6 weeks.  Game times are 3 pm, 4 pm and 5 pm. All Games are on the back field at BiCentennial Park in Livonia.

  • – Games are 7 v 7 on a 9 v 9 field, 25-minute halves, with 1 referee.
  • – Each player needs to bring a white and dark shirt – home team is white, away team is dark.
  • – Each player will need to bring their driver’s license for verification purposes, if needed.
  • – FIFA Laws of the games apply and include unlimited substitution at any stoppage of play.
  • – Each team will need to supply their own ball.
  • – In order to try to have fair teams, the teams were randomly decided and consist of equally divided Open, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Over 40 division players.

Player fees are $25 for GLWSL summer players and $22 new players.  All players need to register in SoccerConnect. (please follow the attached instructions)  If you are a new player be sure to upload a headshot and drivers license.  Also, players need to fill out the google form at the following link:  Player Skill

This year we are looking for Team Leaders for each team. Team leaders organize team attendance, pay referee fees (GLWSL will send you these) and arrange for corner flags to be brought to the field. Team leaders will have their player fee waiver.

All registered players should expect to play on Sunday, September 14th.  Teams will be distributed by Saturday, September 13th at noon.

Kind Regards,

Kim Lemaux
GLWSL, President
